Misty In Roots play Bristol for the first time in 10 years
There is just over a month to go until the legendary – Misty In Roots play their first show in Bristol in 10 years at the beautiful Lantern Hall! Widely known as John Peel’s favourite reggae band, who they recorded a staggering 9 Radio One sessions for, their last Bristol show was part of the 2016 BBC 6 music festival. Celebrating 60 years of Rock Steady!
As part of The London Int’l Ska Festival 2026 this Easter (4th April), we celebrate the 60th anniversary of Rock Steady with a once in a lifetime Thames cruise on the beautiful Dixie Queen paddle steamer! With the first Rock Steady songs being released in 1966, we couldn’t miss the opportunity to shine a light on Ska’s first evolution step towards Reggae, and it’s 60th anniversary!
